High-ranking Yemeni military officials have issued a stern warning to Saudi authorities regarding their ongoing blockade and military operations, asserting that Yemen’s armed forces will retaliate by leadership further cautioned that the nation’s “missiles and drones can strike any location deep inside Saudi territory, devastate the kingdom’s economy, and can reach anywhere Saudi officials might be taking shelter in.”

“The slightest folly you commit will come at a heavy price. Our armed forces have introduced effective measures to establish a new equation of deterrence,” they stated.

Yemeni scholars call Saudi Mecca claim a ‘pure fabrication,’ say US bases are real threat to Mecca

Yemeni scholars have rejected as a “pure fabrication” Riyadh’s claim that Yemeni forces targeted the holy city of Mecca.

The Sana’a administration also announced the implementation of a naval blockade against Saudi Arabia on July 20, citing the oppressive siege that has been enforced against Yemen for nearly twelve years.

Yemeni military units have reported multiple successful operations targeting vessels linked to Saudi Arabia throughout the Red Sea.

These developments have placed significant strain on Saudi Arabia’s already limited oil export capacity.

According to the Financial Times, Saudi crude production fell 23 percent to 6.2 million barrels per day in August, while crude exports dropped from 5.1 million to 3.1 million bpd.

Increased shipping expenses and restricted access to export lanes have also forced Saudi Aramco to lower crude prices for Asian customers.

In March 2015, Saudi Arabia and its coalition partners launched a comprehensive blockade of Yemen alongside a large-scale military offensive.

The United States and several Western nations provided substantial support for this military offensive through military assistance, political backing, and logistical re

The conflict has resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of Yemeni citizens. Nevertheless, Saudi Arabia has failed to achieve its declared goal of restoring a subordinate administration that would advance its strategic interests.
