Pitch! Sports Bar opened in Middlesbrough, offering Teessiders a first glimpse of the new multi‑sports bar and social hub.
Backed by a substantial investment from the Middlesbrough‑based Pneuma Group, the venue will revamp the prominent town‑centre location beneath the A66, opposite the established STACK venue, turning it into a hub for live sport, dining, drinks, entertainment and group events.
Central to the space is a 23‑foot LED screen that spans both levels, complemented by 27 anti‑glare Sony TVs, allowing up to six sports to be displayed simultaneously.
Additionally, the bar includes two multi‑sport simulators, interactive darts and a pool table, providing patrons with activities before, during and after the primary sporting events.
The design of Pitch! Sports Bar caters to everything from high‑profile football games and international competitions to casual drinks, group reservations and evening outings.
The menu puts a Pitch! spin on bar staples such as burgers, wings, chicken tenders, loaded nachos, sharing platters, salads, sides, desserts and a children’s selection.
Guests may utilise the complimentary Pitch! Sports Bar app to reserve seats, book sports activities, purchase event tickets, and order food and beverages.
A comprehensive sporting calendar is already forming, featuring major fixtures slated for the upcoming months.
During its first week, Pitch! Sports Bar will broadcast:
• All major live football, covering both national and international matches
• England v Spain in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday September 26
• A packed programme of Women’s Super League action on Sunday September 27.
Steve Brooke, CEO of Pneuma Group, said: “The response has been brilliant and it has been rewarding to see people experience the Pitch! Sports Bar venue for the first time.
